I think this would be a great short-term signing given our defensive frailties prior to Mancini's appointment. Would cost mega wages though I believe. Anything that would help our onward push for top-spot is OK by me this season.

I'm not sure either, but it does mean that if our owner sold up, there'd be no on-going debt attached to the club - at least that's my understanding.

I've been reading a few different articles about this, which all say the same thing really. Given the astronomical figures involved, I'm sure there's a solid financial reason in there somewhere that could have been linked to the previous manager's sacking. It can't just have been about results...

Not very impressed with MOTD last night. Too much negative talk again about Hughes sacking (Shearer having his say) and too many negative comments during the actual match commentary. When will someone fire these pundits and get some decent ones ?
