I have the Pure unit and very impressed with it. Battery life is good, reception is always great and you can flick back to FM if required. I use it for commentary when at City, works fine.

I think i'd take Defoe plus £8m or so for Adebayor. In todays market, Defoe must be worth around £6/7m so thats a £15m transfer deal. Defoe would suit our style of player better than Ade and is a good finisher to be fair. Given a chance I think he could do a job for us.

I think the lack of activity by the finanically rich sides in the Prem and other top European leagues is the root cause of the slow transfer window. Of course, this shows how reliable lower league/less financially rich clubs are on the spenders during the window...and with the intro of FFP...

Anybody planning on going to this?

Just south of Derby for me (season ticket holder and either drive or get train to games) - would be good to get a supporters club going or something similar.

I flew back from Schonefeld yesterday on the 5pm flight and noticed todays was cancelled (into Luton). Whilst I know its annoying, isnt it more of the airport's fault than the airline?

Off to Berlin in December for 3 nights, mix of christmas markets and the history. Looking forward to it. I'd recommend Oslo, Stockholm or Copenhagen. All extremely nice cities with a friendly atmosphere....just not cheap! I didnt think much to Venice or Rome. Paris was OK, as was Barcelona...
