    A mate has suggested that debt will be back on the agenda. They want to force debt off clubs' books if they are to allow owner investment. Exactly as it should have been. Cheslea are fahooked if true.

    The 'relaxing' of the rules may well be the price UEFA had to pay to come to an agreement with City at the time of our fine? The 'pinch' might just be the price accepted by City to put the thing to bed without an expensive legal battle?

    It also makes it clear enough that as long as we earn the money we can now spend what we like. The expected rush of new and newly renegotiated sponsorships will likely mean a far more buoyant time in the transfer market than many nay sayers were promoting.

    I wonder how long before City get their cheque from UEFA for the share of the recently levied fines?

    As we know the attack on owner investment whilst choosing to ignore debt (in fact FFP, contrary to the general line tripped out, encourages clubs to add debt rather than get owners to write it off) was more political than financial. What amazes me is how many supposedly clever men at top clubs...

    Discussion: Potential Pellegrini Replacements {merged}

    The board have painted themselves into a corner with the manager and to a certain extent, the playing squad. Most of it was foreseable and could be planned for, it hasnt been. The thing that has brought it all into such sharp focus is the almost cowardly performances we have seen in 'defence'...

    Discussion: Potential Pellegrini Replacements {merged}

    Its pretty common knowledge that Bayern have been waiting on Pep to sign the new deal for a while, the question is why hasnt he? Also, the dissing of City by Bayern people is a sign that they arent as cock sure about him staying with them as they once were. Incidentally there was a rumour...

    It could be that he knows exactly what is happening but, as experience tells us, he is a consummate professional and can handle the press really well.
