    Serie A 2013/14 thread

He's crying because he got terrible racial abuse during the game. Mario Balotelli gets this all the time sadly, a lot of Italians don't accept him because they are under the belief that no Italian is black.

Non england followers World Cup 2014

I want Bosnia to do well, it means a lot to the area considering where they were in the 90s, and because of Dzeko as it means a lot to him too.

City vs Bayern Munich Post match Thread

He's winning things with Bayern Munich and in a very good and successful league, why would he come to us? Frightening thing as well is that Bayern are not top of the Bundesliga, they're in a 3 team fight at the moment with Leverkusen and the leaders Dortmund.

City vs Bayern Munich Post match Thread

Back from the game, lets just say it was probably as bad as it looked on TV highlights, but at the same time, absolute pleasure to watch Bayern Munich, too good, we got bollocked, in an amusing note I hung around with a few of their supporters after the game and one guy (name was Dieter I think)...

    City Fans V Bayern Fans

Bayern, hands down for me, nice to see a Che banner amongst their supporters, which means some of them from St. Pauli who they are mates with apparently but mind you all German clubs have fantastic support wherever they go.

    Discuss Pellegrini (Pt 2)

Nah I was hunting for an autograph for my nephew (which I got eventually, cheers Yaya), but the stewards sometimes come out to chat with waiting supporters.

    Discuss Pellegrini (Pt 2)

I remember one of the Villa stewards saying that and we overheard the chat amongst the other stewards. 'I've overheard some bollockings in there over the years but that has to be in the top 4 or 5, a few of the Man City players came out and looked as if they just had an accident in their pants...

Robbie Fowler in the dog house

Considering the fact that they and England are years behind a lot of other countries like Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Germany etc due to a lot of sexism in the game and have only just become fully professional, I don't think that should be a surprise to anybody, I don't watch women's football but...

Robbie Fowler in the dog house

Its because the BBC are investing in coverage of women's sport i.e football / netball to try and increase participation in communities, so I doubt it was anything personal, a thing of 'just in case' really.

Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

He's alright, biased but alright, for me though the 'voice of football' its Motty or the late Brian Moore yeah some didn't like him but still I grew up with him on commentary as a kid.

    Football in The Midlands

So are Black Sabbath, Robert Plant, UB40, ELO, Duran Duran, Ocean Colour Scene, Editors, Ned's Atomic Dustbin and so on. Greater Manchester is a metropolitan county not a city, and if you're into your pop music then go to Manchester, if you're into things a little less mainstream go to...

    Football in The Midlands

Only if you're loyal to the city, I'm not, mind you I'm not even loyal to my own country. LOL.

    Opposition view: Aston Villa

But not as glaringly obvious as when we won the lottery, admit it, the investment we got was unheard of, so of course other clubs won't like it, even more than Abramovich.

    Football in The Midlands

I grew up in Manchester but now I live in the Midlands, outside of football there are a lot of aspects of Birmingham that are better than Manchester... You're in the middle of the country, you could be in London or Manchester in 1hr 20 mins each way. The music scene here if you try and look...

Aston Villa vs. City Pre-Match Discussion Thread

Don't blame them to be honest, the majority (not all) of home fans at any clubs are fickle bastards and get one your back when you let one in, the away fans (ironically Villa are better away from home) are the die hards who'll do anything for the club.
