If I remember correctly this was the case for the Bernabeu last year. Plus presumably they have very specific rules about seat distribution due to covid so would make sense to sell block by block.

Mine's 11:40am Thursday and flying back with Sport Options - if I'm not mistaken, we'll be a couple of hours over the 72 so I'm most likely gonna do a lateral flow in Porto. Will get it done & out of the way on the Friday.

I wonder if they are being deliberately vague on day trip/independent travel and just assuming a "majority" will opt for the day trip due to it being free?
