    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

He should Ben White it. Take the extra weeks of rest and focus on being the best club player in the world. International football is GOD AWFUL

    Jude Bellingham

Can’t stand this kid, he has received way too much adoration to early and it’s made him an egomaniac. Gives me Homelander off The Boys vibes

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

The kid was absolutely joyous to watch last night. Was roaming around that final third everywhere- won’t happen too much but so enjoyable to watch with that freedom and space. A couple of flicks under pressure with his back to goal that… he’s an absolute joke tbh all that can be said

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Fair enough… like i said, unpopular

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Unpopular opinion, I mentioned it back in November: I don’t wanna see him transition to centre half or the centre half/central mid. Just happy for him to do his own thing in that left back slot and become the best in the world at that (whatever it is)

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

People keep talking him up to play the Stones role, but I see him slightly differently. He's more of a powerhouse, great at playing the ball out, great at carrying the ball out, but also seems pretty handy on the overlap, which is a surprise. Personally, I'd let him just create his own role...

    Bournemouth (H) - Sat 4th Nov, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Ederson Stones Akanji Dias Ake Rodri Bernardo Alvarez Foden Haaland Doku and then in the week Ederson Walker Akanji Gvardiol Lewis Rodri Nunes Kovacic Doku Haaland Grealish That would be my guess. (and then same team as the first one for Chelsea but Walker and Grealish in for Akanji and Doku)

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2023/24

Really happy to see him back in the build up focused central free roam role. He was fantastic on the right at the end of last season, but this is where he helps us most!! Together with Rodri and Stones with Alvarez (KDB when fit) Foden and Grealish (Doku sometimes) in front is just perfection

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

I was slightly worried about his pace (not as quick as I first thought he was supposed to be) after one of the games earlier in the season. But he looked rapid yesterday for a big fella. Could be a massive revelation for us with Walker's powers inevitably waning in the future. I think this left...

    5 | John Stones - 2023/24

I genuinely feel he's the most underrated player of all time

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

I always feel like whenever Phil has a "bad" game it is because he can't get into the game. He has this thing that no other player really does where he always seems to show for the ball and gesture with his hands towards his feet. I feel like he needs to chill a bit more and trust the ball to...

    Arsenal (A) - Sun Oct 8th, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I think Bernardo needs to be the man to play alongside (whoever ends up filling in for Rodri.) That role he would play a couple of years back, where he would pick the ball up off the centre halves and off the ball would be up and down all day. Kovacic had a nightmare in the Rodri role against...

    RB Leipzig (A) - Wed 4th Oct, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

_____________Ed _____Walk___Dias___Gvardiol ________Rodri-Kovacic Lewis_________________Grealish _____Foden_____Alvarez __________Haaland I'd like to have a look at a side like this. Is ultimately Walker at CB though, out of possession... Maybe rest him and play Akanji.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

So, so exciting. But, having read through a comments on here, I agree; His tracking back has been sus- looks like he has half the pace when the op have the ball. His touch isn't at the level we have seen from players here recently. but I've never been so unexpectedly excited about a signing...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Yeah fair enough. I did enjoy it more when we were shit. I think nowadays because of social media there is a toxicity around England fans of a younger generation- using international breaks to snipe rival clubs' players and push the agendas of their own clubs players. Absolutely despise it...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Would be COSMIC if Pep came out and handed Gareth and verbal volley. But I agree and altho it's fkin boring, don't think it is in Citys best interest for us to start beefing the England manager

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Would love Phil to retire from international football- it's shit anyway. What Southgate has done is a massive management no, no. You've basically got a journo questioning his competence with selection and using the squad he has at his disposal to its best capabilities- and what Southgate has...
