The reason I pinpointed the Sheff Utd league away game as one where I thought he did well before his dip in form...there was one 1st half cameo where I saw him take a high ball,deliberately but delicately head the ball up and away over the advancing striker ,and then run round the poor chap to collect the ball without it touching the ground ,to start the counter attack! I know id had a good pre match drink that day ,but i couldn't believe what I was seeing .. I thought that's crazy..this lad is class..".and he's the left back remember !"

You can visibly see he's getting better each game as he's been great the last few games.

He's going to be a superb signing.

Also helps that Kovacic is here helping him integrate into the English lifestyle and culture. Heard that that have a close relationship and are inseparable.

Remember he's only 22. He'll be only of the best defenders in the world in a couple of seasons

Unpopular opinion, I mentioned it back in November: I don’t wanna see him transition to centre half or the centre half/central mid. Just happy for him to do his own thing in that left back slot and become the best in the world at that (whatever it is)
