Could he be the next Drogba - if not then I am not interested.

If we do sign him and he doesnt score 10 goals in the first 6 match given our fixtures then people need to be asking questions
Where's your famous trademark ;-) disappeared to?
He never puts a wink, he is just dry and the lack of wink confuses the 'thicks' which then entertains me.

The above link to the Golden Shoe 2013 table reveals why we are definitely getting a top striker.

The naysayers need to revise some of their more asinine comments.

It's a one season list and that is the most he has ever scored in a season

Must be noted as good return for season, how many we're penalties?

Flapping is serious business GDM
It is. My apologies. I momentarily lost control of my senses then.

For 20+M, it will be the worst signing of the new season.

Really? and how do you qualify that without seeing a ball kicked in anger? No one knows whats being paid or how he will perform if we sign him.

Carlos was adios either this season or next and although he put his effort in last year the goal return was diminishing. It says something that Cavani has now been effectively fucked off by 3 clubs due to his fee, I say give things a chance instead of knee jerking.

if you have seen enough of him and his style of play, you would have agreed.
Comparing to spending 20+M on Negredo, I would rather not signing anyone but give John the chance to be the thrid striker.

Bollocks you've seen him play loads. Why is every skeptic all of a sudden an avid "La Liga" follower/expert. How come you've only just piped up with this opinion? Too you long enough. People need to trust the management and stop thinking they should be our chief scout.

How very true.Too many people want to become the dogs bollocks and try to be seen in a light that makes them seem they have some footballing knowledge.
I prefer to let our Manager and his team decide who can do a very good job for us and NOT the so called FIFA Gameboys !!!

The amount of knicker wetting on here sometimes makes me think this site should be sponsored by Tena.
I am finding quite a lot of your posts amusing at the moment for some strange reason :-)

Because I'm a funny guy ;-)

I seem to recall Negredo9 quoting a figure that was either 4 perhaps 5 but I stand to be corrected. The attached chart gives no breakdown.

You know what we should do for the fun of it? Now that Sevilla bought Bacca probably expecting to rape us in Negredo's sale, we should just pull out of the deal right now and leave them with Bacca and Negredo and let them go in panic mode. That'll be fun to watch.

Hey maybe we could even come back at the end of August and low ball the shit out of them Galliani style.

The Sevilla president not plan to sell Negredo for less than 25 million Euros. For me it seems a fair price for a striker who last season scored more than 30 goals between league and cup. 25 only league. Compare what is asked by Cavani, Suarez, Benteke or other front of more than 20 goals.

Negredo for 25 is a fair price. What I find crazy is paying 30 by Jovetic, 45 by Suarez or 65 by Cavani.
