Carlos was adios either this season or next and although he put his effort in last year the goal return was diminishing. It says something that Cavani has now been effectively fucked off by 3 clubs due to his fee, I say give things a chance instead of knee jerking.

Comparing to spending 20+M on Negredo, I would rather not signing anyone but give John the chance to be the thrid striker.

How very true.Too many people want to become the dogs bollocks and try to be seen in a light that makes them seem they have some footballing knowledge.
I prefer to let our Manager and his team decide who can do a very good job for us and NOT the so called FIFA Gameboys !!!

I seem to recall Negredo9 quoting a figure that was either 4 perhaps 5 but I stand to be corrected. The attached chart gives no breakdown.

You know what we should do for the fun of it? Now that Sevilla bought Bacca probably expecting to rape us in Negredo's sale, we should just pull out of the deal right now and leave them with Bacca and Negredo and let them go in panic mode. That'll be fun to watch.

The Sevilla president not plan to sell Negredo for less than 25 million Euros. For me it seems a fair price for a striker who last season scored more than 30 goals between league and cup. 25 only league. Compare what is asked by Cavani, Suarez, Benteke or other front of more than 20 goals.

Negredo for 25 is a fair price. What I find crazy is paying 30 by Jovetic, 45 by Suarez or 65 by Cavani.

i feel a bit underwhelmed about this signing TBH. his overall play dont seem good enough, similar to dezko. At our level we need players who can contribute in all aspects of the game

For the last time, the fee quoted is in EUROS, not pounds sterling. FFS.

Its truly amazing how as soon as we go for a player everybody becomes an expert on that player and that league to the point where it seems like most people watched every minute of every game that he played in or could it be because he aint a big name people just dont know that much about him and have decided that they dont want him.

People say go all out for cavani and benteke, but not many people had heard squat about benteke before he started playing for villa and despite his goals id wager most people didnt watch a tremendous amount of him last season. I think the bottom line is well go on stats or whether a player is the next big thing and while negredo may not be the next big thing his stats in terms of goals are very good and you cant ask for more than that from a striker.

Heard he gets a goal every 121 minutes and RVP gets one every 120 minutes... I ain't an expert but we all know how good RVP is :)
