The fucks that got to do with anything? Can't recall Aguero ever scoring 4 against Spurs does that make Dzeko a better player as well?

I was being flippant.

However, right now and taking this season into account Lewandowski is better than Aguero.

Some serious delusion on these threads regarding Dortmund players.

Why would any of this great team leave and come to a team of a quality nowhere near them?

They should've leatherd us by 5 or 6 at our gaff the gulf really was that big.
Regarding İlkay Gündoğan he's not from the Dortmund youth system and has said he would like to play in England or Spain in the future and

Secondly Money as the Dortmund Chief keeps on telling us their players aren't on that much. This is what he said regrading foreign investment 'I would not even welcome it' and City should be thrown out of the Champions League should they continue to exploit ‘back-door funding’.

Thirdly you do our players are disservice Silva on top form is better than Gotze and Aguero is better than Lewandowski and Kompany is good as Hummels. I highly doubt Dortmund players would consider our players to be of quality nowhere near them.

Kompany is better than Hummels, Gotze is better than silva and Lewandowski is better than Aguero.
I agree with the first two and probably the second one as well. Lewandoski is more complete than Aguero and that is what gives him the edge. Today's performance just sums up how good he is. If Aguero was from Poland and Lewandoski from a traditionally strong footballing country like Argentina then the way people rate them would be different.

If that's the case Lewandoski is the best striker in the world better than the short Messi and Falcao because he is more 'complete'.

I cant recall Aguero ever scoring 4 against a club like Madrid.

When he played for Athletico he tore Barcelona apart on his own. Hat-trick IIRC.

Think your rite mate. Aguero has a bad season due to injuries and suddenly Peter Crouch is the better player YCNMIU.

I was basing my comment pretty much around the fact that their movement is extremely similar but Lewandowski is more clinical. Aguero is a world class striker and he scored 30 goals last season, but he's not a clinical finisher. He scores probably 1 every 3 very good chances he gets. Doesn't mean he's not vital to us or quality.

That would be true if being complete was the only factor. Lewandski and Aguero are not too far apart in ability, but what makes me place Lewandoski above Aguero is the former is a more complete player and can do more. Both are world class strikers.

Also if you have seen anything of Falcao you would know he is incredible at scoring headers despite his height.

I thought this thread was about Gundôgan?

In my opinion, Dortmund are a selling club, and we should be all over this boy like a cheap suit. Offer them £25m and we have got something we have been seeking for 3 years.

I don't think Dortmund's intention is to be a selling club, they are just being forced into it. Their wage structure is killing them, for all the talk of German football purity they have young males playing for them and it's human nature to want more money.

Kagawa - wouldn't sign a new contract, had to be sold to the rags.
Lewandowski - won't sign a new contract, will have to be sold or lost for free.
Gotze - release clause triggered.
Santana - release clause about to be triggered.
Reus - release clause becomes active in 2014.

If they raised their wage ceiling and stopped with these low release clauses I don't think there would be such an exodus.

What knee-jerk statements after one match. Lewandowski is not more complete or even better than
Aguero.
How can you forget that Aguero has been mixing it up at the top for a while now.
Lewandowski is a physical striker with some skill but please lets not blow one night against real madrid out of proportion

I agree. He's a good player and better than some we have, but not Aguero.
