“City have made the PL uncompetitive”. Myth & reality

Didn't family guy win something like 12 Premier League title medals and was runner-up another half a dozen times?

They really are reaching now, these bastards.

Apparently domination is worth more than three points when it concerns us.

when the title race was over before it began, (and the FA cup was between 2teams), where was the bitchin' then? Not a fkn peep. Rags making sky millions, sky making rags millions, media in thrall to the gpc, likewise prem league. Then was the time to bleat and moan about "uncompetitive league", financial doping" etc if anyone actually gave a shit about the dominance by one club. As long as it was the rags then all was fine . The "crisis" that is being pushed by the usual suspects is devoid of evidence but dripping with bias against City. Circle the wagons, win the lot. It's the best way to deal with the bastards

They aren't winning titles now so it's got to be someone else's fault because they are infallible, there can't be any justification that the biggest club in the world have their titles stolen from them and their history disrespected. All the clubs who didn't stand a chance of them winning when they were winning everything should get behind them in complaining that they are winning fresh air now.
The news out today is that they pay more wages than other teams and have also spent more money on individual players than we and other teams have, this of course is a non issue because they earned their money the right way using their collective arses to allow sponsors to hump them for cold hard cash.

To look at competitiveness maybe look and the quartiles for points at end of the season.

I think the knock comes against individual games not the league as a whole, the amount of 5s and 6s probably back it up. West Ham and Cardiff were tricky aways once.

Not competitive? What a load of old arse.

From a top 2 to a top 4 to now a top 6.....With all 6 teams genuinely having a chance of competing for the title. The EPL has been, since 2008 anyway, the most competitive league in Europe.

We're seeing an evolution in the bottom half of the table as those clubs recover from years of being managed by dinosaurs of the game. No coincidence that 4 of the bottom 5 are managed by Warnock, Hughes, Hodgson and Dyche.

The days of Pardew, Pulis, Bruce, BFS etc. are gone, teams in the lower half have to adapt to the demands of fans wanting to see more expansive football and actually have a plan to future proof it.
