“City in crisis”

The thing is that in terms of greatest teams certainly in England dominance is very much cyclical and I think some of you are mourning the demise of your great era way too early.

Injuries are sadly a given and of course they impact significantly harder when you loose the best player in the world but for me looking from the outside in it’s pretty obvious the 115 charges and of course the APT challenge seem to be pre occupying you the supporters and no doubt it is a significant and debilitating focus from within.

most of us don't give a fuck about the charges bollox. We are here for the long run.

I think a big factor is how reliable Rodri has been over the past few years. I am sure City had DM targets who were not followed through with as they were not happy to have a backup role. Obviously signing Kalvin-Philips was a crazy move but maybe part of it was that he was keen to join? If Paqueta had not been involved with gambling he would probably be here and making a big contribution.
I do think the 115 charges thing hanging over the club is also a massive factor. The club probably does not want to spend money without a serious need and player targets would be asking what is happening with that and with Pep.
Hopefully we win the case, stability returns and Pep signs for a couple of years.

back in 2017/18 we lost on the Wednesday in CL QF at Liverpool, lost at home to Utd on the Saturday then lost home to Liverpool on the Tuesday, some people wrote us off and thought we could bottle the lead , we responded and followed that by winning away on Saturday at Spurs and finishing the season with 100 points, not saying we are going to be Centurions again but point i'm making is good team and proven winners do respond
