“City Matters” fan committee

Fear not, in the next few days tickets will be given out to random groups/clubs/schools etc, and the ground will look full, they will come for nothing, many will show zero interest in the game, they will be up and down like yo yo's one after another, and as a cup schemer you get the pleasure of being surrounded by them, generally making the experience a shit one

Ha ha very true! Selfie central!

Oh, don’t I know it! When you sit on the front row in the aisle seat, near the away dugout & every tourist wants a photo of themselves or their friends and you’re trying to get to your seat or just sit quietly waiting for the match to start or at half time or full time. Don’t get me started! But I wouldn’t change my seat for anything. :-)

It’s a bit annoying but if they didn’t give these seats away they would have to shut two stands!

Maybe more of the fans who have the season cards for their beloved Prem should show up.

Btw I am in favour of reduced priced tickets for school parties but it has to be anaged better (ensuring people turn up and the seats aren’t all in North Stand Level 1).

Two years unfortunately. I guarantee if there is a mass walk out following the honorable actions of the Rep for Disabled fans it will be close between Parker and PB in the game of musical chairs to be the last man sitting

Then we can look forward to the anecdotes of how he talked Soriano into signing Messi or how he brokered a takeover bid on the side whilst he gave his (one of many) next door neighbor Vicky Kloss a lift back when her car was in for service

As for me though. My manifesto would be to get the paltry 60% allocation increased to match the actual % of seasoncard holders and if they said no, I'd walk on principle as he should

I'd also lobby for a reduction in SC share to achieve this, your mate PB can't do that as he's a member of one (conveniently left off his pledge)

I don't know PB, though would recognise him by sight, so hardly a mate. Was getting the 60% allocation increased a part of his his manifesto (I didn't vote or see any manifestos so genuinely don't know)? If so, then I would agree that he should be fighting for that. If not, then I see no problem.

If you are successful in getting elected, then I wish you the best of luck in getting your manifesto implemented.

He said it was unjust on here but seen nothing in the minutes for the meetings so far and once I challenged him to ask for this or resign he blocked me

I doubt it'll last the two years in all seriousness. The club might throw the odd scrap here and there but anything fundamental won't come from this

Read the part further back about the censorship of comments on the disability rep's amendments

Shame, but come on, we need to be honest that the club has far outgrown one that relies on input from fans at that kind of level

I doubt it will have much of an affect on the club's policies but some representation is better than nothing.

I've got a couple of people on my ignore list (that's "loads" apparently) so I don't see their (presumably) malicious & abusive drivel. We didn't find out about the respective allocations until our second full CM meeting. We've already slightly increased the amount as we've got the club to agree the 18-25 tickets will come off the top, rather than from the seasoncard holders allocation. so that's something like an extra 90 tickets going to seasoncard holders overall. And I'd like to get more, as I've said, but it won't define my tenure if we don't. We've more important issues to tackle to be honest that affect all match-going fans. It's been a learning experience for us all so far but we're making progress.

And I'm delighted to say that the minutes have been agreed so should be up shortly.

I'd love to know what "come off the top" means when the current split is as follows:

60% Seasoncard holders
20% Supporters Club
15% Corporate
5% Players/Sponsors

There is no top, no other pot, so this 3% for 18-25 ballot must mean one of the above is reduced. Which bucket??

Or is this just something they've fobbed you off with?
