@Prestwich_Blue before agree anything that will impact us as fans will each of the committee canvase the group it represents for there thoughts or will it just be implemented ?
Genuine question my lad is 18 and we go as a dad and lad like I guess many do. How's it going to work if he's drawn out and lm not ?I've got a couple of people on my ignore list (that's "loads" apparently) so I don't see their (presumably) malicious & abusive drivel. We didn't find out about the respective allocations until our second full CM meeting. We've already slightly increased the amount as we've got the club to agree the 18-25 tickets will come off the top, rather than from the seasoncard holders allocation. so that's something like an extra 90 tickets going to seasoncard holders overall. And I'd like to get more, as I've said, but it won't define my tenure if we don't. We've more important issues to tackle to be honest that affect all match-going fans. It's been a learning experience for us all so far but we're making progress.
And I'm delighted to say that the minutes have been agreed so should be up shortly.
Thank you for the response.Sorry it's 60 additional for seasoncard holders as a whole as they "lose" 90 but "gain" 150 as the 18-25 group will also be seasoncard holders. If we start with 3000 tickets and we take 150 off the top, that leaves 2850. 60% of that is 1710 but the 150 added back to that makes 1860. And other measures being implemented, which we've got to finally agree & check it's possible to implement, together with longer-term changes to the points system, should mean less tickets are being bought just for the points, which means that more people on the points ladder should have a better chance of getting tickets instead of missing out now. We saw the impact that ID checks had on the CL away games and while no one wants to repeat some of the farces we saw then, I don't think anyone could argue that discouraging people buying tickets they only intend to sell on is a bad thing. Apart from the people doing that of course.
How many points do they have though? They've been going as long as I've known you and probably longer than that. My lad didn't get a season ticket till he was 15 I think and, if he hadn't buggered off the the States 7 years ago and we'd been going to the same number of games we were doing before that, he'd probably have at least 18k points now.
Thank you for the response.
From what I’ve read my major concern would be having to meet at a ground to collect tickets, even if it’s only a percentage of us because it then cuts into my free time, which I am vehemently against, as I believe most of your congregation who attend away games would agree with.
However if these measures are brought in, will it be the same for all? Or will other protected groups be able to circumvent the passing on of tickets just as they do now?
Don’t know about the Supporters Clubs, but I do know corporate do what the fuck they want, and in Europe TC give them out on the planeYour last bit is my major worry. Loads of talk of corporate and SC handing out wristbands and tickets on coaches before
That's what he is doing now@Prestwich_Blue before agree anything that will impact us as fans will each of the committee canvase the group it represents for there thoughts or will it just be implemented ?
Are they ? I haven’t seen anything to suggest what measures are being implemented or what the longer term changes to the points system is. Also will these changes be across the board as in will all groups be affected or just the season card group ? I look forward to reading the minutes of the last meeting plus the ones from the previous one now they have been agreed .That's what he is doing now
