Was thinking today actually, Bilbao have had a truly awful season and aren't the football hipster team of choice anymore, but are full of talented individuals... wonder if we might spring a surprise and go for one of them like Muniain (really gone off the boil but enormous talent still), De Marcos, or Herrera. Players who were mentioned last summer but never are now.

I'd like us too sign Muniain.

Word in The Country is that he is having trouble with the hierarchy at Bilbao and has had some depression issues.

He is a real talent but may go the way of Neil Lennon (good but not great career), unfortunately. Still, he might be worth the risk.

He is attainable, young, a more reliable version of Demba Ba, and would get along with Kompany. Imagine him on the end of Silva or Yaya throughballs/dinks over the back four.
