Pep has stated that he is happy with his performances and Pep has shown in the past that if players do not follow his directions they will sit on the bench. Pep could only have meant that Grealish was following orders or that he was performing at a level expected of a new player. Either way for supposed City fans to be slagging him off so openly and aggressively at this stage is a disgrace.

Funny is that, after the Leeds game - all the negative posters here - were celebrating the birth of "Jack The Great".. It's ridiculous, how narrative changes from game to game.. :D

Strong midfield consists of Rodri-Bernardo, Gundogan who is 32 soon, KDB who gets injuries once or twice per year and missies like 2/4 of the season and Fernandinho who will probably retire at the end of this season..

So, you definitely need some players there and that's where Grealish will play.

This is bullshit. When the time comes we will dip in the market for a midfielder. Why do you think Grealish will suddenly morph Into a world class LCM when he can't even thrive in the role he has been asked to fulfill thus far? He doesn't have the legs to play in midfielder for a start.

If he starts playing lcm does the 12 month he needs to play in a pep system start again as he's learning a new position?
