Yowza, some have totally written him off.
I'll give him another year, as it seems that some players take that long to get to grips with how Guardiola plays.

I have never read so much utter garbage in one place as I have in this thread, well apart from the Rodri thread, the Sterling thread, the Mahrez thread, and the Gundogan thread. I am so pleased that Pep is the one making the choices, and that we are top of the league and still in 2 cups. Utter toss, and lots of it.

For some reason, and perhaps it is every fanbase, we have a selection who criticise players constantly and then find every reason to justify their criticism, ignoring when they have obviously played well, but jumping on every performance where they didn't shine. It is the only thing that I detest about being a City fan and it brings the terrace moaning to the home.
