That is the issue i have, he looks good in parts, but his all round game is nowhere near that of those three players. And if you are going to pay that kind of money surely the player should be of similar level.

good hair / english / and can get fanboys easily he is an ad
he is not totally useless he is an "OK" player but he will not be a "legend" or top anything I can bet on that.

I think he’s been a big threat since returning and has been unlucky not to score a couple. The lad will come good.

We have recently been unable to rely on KDB due to injuries and subsequent lack of fitness. We got caught out that way with Sergio so perhaps that was in a few minds. Brilliant as Bernie has been this season, who would have predicted that when we first started to talk to Grealish? I agree that he doesn’t look top 5 in the world potential, but a likely increase in the requirement for home grown players makes an English core advantageous. He’s a good footballer and there are a lot of things the club has to take into account.

That's price tag will overshadow any good performance for him unfortunately in future.

Will be a top player for us. Whether he's worth 100m is an academic question. Btw, a year ago Bernardo was on 0 assists and 0 goals. Many were doubtful about his future. Same with Gundogan, Rodri etc. Grealish is an wonderful player and he will show it already this season.

the problem with griezmann..sry I mean jack is that he is always unlucky not to score.
we don't need almost and "he was decent today" we need a top striker who can do things someone who scores goals for fun and one of those top players who cost around 100£ at least to avoid last year CL final scenario
if you think he gets a free pass cuz this is his first year I can almost agree with you even tho he cost 100£.
I was really expecting Kane or Haaland but you get what you get
but if there is someone who can improve him I'm sure it's pep.
