This thread should be interesting this year, I suspect certain posters will be very quiet in here compared to last season.

Class performance from him today though, just knew he’d link up so well with Haaland. So it doesn’t surprise me it was him that set him up for his first city goal. Get cucu in alongside him and watch him tear teams apart.

Looking a lot more like it and his fitness is considerably improved, just needs to sort his finishing then it's game on.

Someone posted a YouTube video on here from a soccer skills contest with Grealish, his ability to strike a ball and the precision was incredible, so he can do it but needs to do it on match day far more often.

I will be surprised if he hitting 10 goals in all competition on upcoming season, never been seen as goal scoring machine and sadly i don't think he will ever improves on his finishing.

I think he can improve and will hopefully be working on it, but is never going to be a big goalscorer. Not unreasonable to ask him to aim for 10 or so though.

He's an okay finisher, has scored some lovely goals in his time but has never been someone who consistently bangs them in.

His instinct is always to create space and opportunities for others, and especially now we have real striking options, that'll be what he's judged on.

I'm very encouraged that he's already having these conversations with Haaland.
