Sell him back to Villa next summer and put the cash towards Bellingham's transfer.
They aren't going to pay a lot for him in the unlikely event that happened.

It's very hard to tell where his career goes from here. Did he find his level at Villa, the star man in a poorer team where almost everything was centred around him and the freedom that gave him? Or can he settle into a better side where he isn't central to everything and start making an impact? At the moment time is ticking against him and his displays so far point to the former rather than the latter. He comes across as a lovely lad and there's no doubting his talent but assists and goals are what's needed now for club and country. As others have said he's 28 now and should be at his peak and positively affecting games. Unfortunately he flatters to decieve. Fingers crossed for the lad.
I think he'll start against france.
He’s not going anywhere. Can’t understand why posters keep suggesting he is other than wishful thinking. They aren't going to pay a lot for him in the unlikely event that happened.

Yes, they’re usually suggesting we sell him back to Villa for £20 so I don’t tend to pay them much attention.Isn't there a faction on here who are in the " he's shit and nowhere near what we paid " ?
But that’s not why we aren’t going to sell him back, mate. It’s nothing to do with financials but more the fact that Pep is far happier with him and his importance to the team than the half dozen or so on here who think he’s shit and a waste of space.Well no as we'd take a massive loss on him that's why.
