Not his fault but I think the 100m tag has been a huge part of the criticism directed his way, not just by city fans but fans of other clubs as well. If we had gotten him for his actual price which should be about 35m then most wouldn't even bother about his underwhelming performances.
If we'd have gotten him for £35m he'd be heralded across the whole of Europe as arguably the best buy the Premier League has seen.

A key figure in winning 6 trophies in his first 2 seasons, including a historic treble; not sure there's been many £35m players who have managed that.

I personally never care about transfer price, but I do care about salary. Jack is the 3rd highest, and he clearly is not our 3rd most importan/best player, so I think he hasn't got to the level he should. Important for the treble (although some here talk like he was the key when that isn't even close to reality).

Nothing against him, but if he is not a City player tomorrow, I wouldn't be worried because I think there are wingers who can give us more.

And for the Doku vs Grealish people, neither will be a starter (althought Doku will play more minutes I think).

the last part you may be actually right as we saw last game - if Haaland, KDB, Alvarez, Foden, Bernardo Silva are starters then You do not have any more spots for Grealish/Doku. Although I think Grealish/Doku/Bobb are number 12 spot, so will be heavily involved through rotation. Its always possibility for injuries too or Grealish advantegous qualities against some opponents

Are you the sausage that's been knocking Haaland in his performance thread?

You've either got a very short memory or are incredibly silly

I think I've clocked you knocking Kovacic as well earlier in the season, and are now starting to be proven to have called that one wrong as well
You need to get a life instead of monitoring everyone's posts . Its a Forum not everyone is a nodding dog.

Yeah....I tend to agree. I can see what jack is good (holding onto the ball) at but for me Sourness hit the nail on the head when he said Jack is too predictable and never does the first time pass, his brain doesn't seem to work as fast as the others in the team.
I know he has big fans on here and I don't want to annoy/upset anyone, I like him and Doku but neither gets in my first 11.
I'd go more like the Brentford team but with Stonesy.

So very wrong on all counts.

We paid 100m, fact, he is on a huge contract , fact.

Last year he was very, very good, this season has had far too many fits and starts, illness, injury, whatever.

But the fact remains in 3 seasons, he has had one very good season and two average.

Hopefully he will get himself back into the team for the run in and show his worth, if not, with the arrival of Savio, the club and player will have a decision to make for the future.

Maybe we are also witnessing Pep's man management skills in action. One issue Grealish has for me is far too many times he is to laid back, a nasty, fired up Grealish is a superb player and huge asset to the team we witnessed that during the last derby, maybe Pep is looking for a reaction by leaving him on the bench in recent weeks.
