The same Pep that’s been happy to play him and rely on him? Who has praised him to the hilt, especially his defensive work?

Happy for Doku he’s started so well but let’s not use it as an opportunity to undermine a key player who’s injured. I’ve already seen some disgusting takes on Twitter today from City ‘fans’ who should know better.

I think it’s time Jack learn to be more like Bernie now, gonna be tough.

He should learn more positions because currently has 1 spot he can play, actually everyone on the team can play more than 1 spot except Jack, barring the obvious omissions like keepers and Haaland.

If he can learn to play the interior midfield role, next to Doku, we get more options when Jack comes back. It is tough to learn to play in midfield but he has played there before.

Sure he used to play inside for Villa .

The problem is more and more team is knowing on how to block Grealish to make shot like that as they get acclimitised with his play.

Doku will get the same treatment, they at first will be difficult trying to defend someone like him but as time progress the opponents will have find way to counter him.

Yes Jack probably wouldn’t have scored that, but he would have made more of an effort to get back after losing the ball and maybe prevented their goal?

They can try but Doku has explosive power Jack could only dream of. His body feints and first couple of steps are genuinely incredible.

Grealish gets doubled up on in so many of our games now and there's not much he can do other than be patient and pass the ball on. With Doku, there's every chance he just bursts past both defenders.

It's not a criticism of Jack either. He's got plenty of great attributes. Plus I can see them playing together anyway.

Whenever our rival find a way to counter us, Pep is already several steps ahead finding another solution to keep our rival still guessing.

Pep is our biggest strength.

Both him and Doku can still play together. Doku can play on the right. Grealish's profile is different than Doku's, and will offer us something different. I don't think he will get that much chances in the middle because we have so many options there, but Grealish is still valuable to our squad.
