Imagine its simply a contract extension, he's going into his 4th year of his 5 year deal. Regardless of how well he has played or whether he might find himself on the periphery once again this season, He's a £100 million asset. We won't be so stupid as to let him go into his final year of his contract. Even if we planned on offloading him (I'm not saying we are) we'd be tying him down to an extension beforehand.

I recall this time last year that it would be jacks break out season and he was terrible , seem to lose all interest after the treble , thinks he had made it but the others wanted to make history and did . He needs a serious think about whether he is at the right club when it comes to motivation to keep going season after season

I agree. I love how he shares his info but I hate to say it - the way he frames his posts smacks of being a right attention seeker.
