Like my son has just said, what do we have to lose. I'd try Jacob Wright in there with him. Just try something different, because yesterday that was the most lightweight midfield we've had for a long time.I still say we try him out in midfield..
Outside of Rodri, I think he's the best player we have at shielding the ball and not losing it. He offers a lot of control.
He also carries the ball well when he has more space, which he doesn't get out wide
Conventional wisdom says he should be played in the middle but it's obviously Pep doesn't fancy him in the middle. Pep obviously knows much more than us, but I'd really love to hear from him about why he never tries it.

Been hearing rumours he is turning up to training unfit due to being hungover. Pep is getting rid in Jan if possible.
I wouldn't blame him, having to sit and watch lightweights like Doku and Savinho picked ahead of him.
Pep's fucked up trying to change Jack's game rather than adapting to it.
