He’s never fit for more than a few weeks at a time. He’s as big a crock as anyone in the squad.
How can anyone build any momentum with this kind of interrupted streak (this is his status for every City PL game played since the start of 2023-24):

He’s only started more than two consecutive games once since the treble. As a comparison, even De Bruyne who we all think of as injury ravaged and can’t get going, started 18 of City’s 23 games after he came back from injury in January to his latest injury in September, including the last 8 games of last season and the first 4 games of this season (12 PL games in a row).
In the games Grealish has started consecutively, that’s where he’s got all of his goals and assists over these past two seasons (bar one random goal against Spurs that wasn’t within a run of consecutive games).
It’s not that Grealish isn’t good enough… it’s that he’s never fit enough.
