Foden did fuck all yesterday. A passenger in that game. We all love Foden but yesterday was a poor by his standards - he was hooked not long after so Pep wasn’t fussed about a goal in him. Let Jack have the last 30 minutes in the middle.

I suggest Pep doesn't play him more centrally because his strength is keeping the ball close and shielding it but with little pace this carries a risk of getting caught on the ball resulting in more dangerous breaks right through our centre where there is also little pace.

I don’t hate jack grealish but I also wouldn’t be that fussed if we sold him aswell because he has not set the place with few top class performances but as I’ve said before I would still like to see him in the centre of midfield dictating the game like he used to do for Villa .
 
Ah jackie G i so want you to do well. Youre a belting bloke and youve been 7/10 for us , won multiple trophies, been a huge part of what we do but you can be so much better but doku coming on on saturday and smashing a worldy in is what you can be doing

This hate line is pathetic and very wrong.

Grealish is not hated and never has been by our fan base, a lot if us are simply frustrated that such a talented player does not show enough in our shirt.

He has done ok in 3 seasons, that's the issue, he is a far better talent thank ok.

Never a number player, never has been, accepted he never will. been playing decent so far this season but was sloppy on sat which is unlike him. Even choice of pass was off.

Print Ken is we know what he can do as he showed it week in week out for Villa .

On a side note, reckon I'm just not gonna come in this thread anymore. Feels like a waste of energy to go round in circles about him. He produced the best form of his career just when we needed him to on the way to the treble. Any member of that squad has carte blanche with me. He will be a City legend forever. He’s even using City blue colours in his posts. A Sky Blue love heart for his new born.

I find it crazy that after all the years hes been here, people are still seemingly surprised or shocked at what he is doing on the pitch.

I don’t get his detractors. It’s very weird. My best mate states him. He’s a blue. He clearly plays to Pep’s instructions.

I think he’ll end up back at Villa but he will go with my total blessings if he does. I hope he stays though.
