I maintain he has coasted since the treble , terrible last year and terrible so far this , he can do so much better , we know that
Maybe if he played centrally but never going to happen. As a left winger he’s very limited. Keeps the ball very well and wins a lot of free kicks.

Surely winning us free. kicks and getting booked for dissent often is nowhere near enough. Both him and pep have said he needs to be assisting and scoring more , i dont think he is hungry anymore

Not sure why they would want him?

I think there is a player there, but his game just does not suit Pep football at all in my opinion. It's why Pep never trusts him in central midfield.

It's all a bit Joe Cole at Chelsea under Mourinho.

I think had he signed for Klopp, as an example, many in this country would be raving about his game.

I think to get the best out of him you have to let him have a free role, no discipline etc.. and Pep will never give him that.

I think Newcastle should take him, they would love him up there and he would become their main man, something he revels in.

He will never be that player at our club under Pep.

Unfortunately we have been saying that for a while now. As others said perhaps try him in the middle, couldnt be any worse than today as i feel part of a front 3, he offers nothing for creativity or goals and when we struggle to get Haaland into the game, we need more from the wingers

We are crying out for a winger that can bring more of an end product to the table.

Our wingers don't offer anywhere near enough goal threat.

Even today... There were times where crosses were whipped from the right hand side over to the far left near the back post and Grealish was absolutely nowhere to be seen.

For all of Sterling's faults... He attacked the spaces in behind defenders where you are likely to score. Grealish never attacks those spaces. He's a winger playing as a midfield player. Always wants ball to feet, never wants to run onto balls or find the spaces in the penalty area to give him a chance of scoring.

Summer 2025 is a big one for us. We need reinforcements.

Sloppy today in pass, and choices of pass. Apart from that he was fine.

Bit strange if he’s told to not to commit defenders and the other bloke who plays there dribbles every time

its because he is not, pep said numerous times that his job is to take the team to the last 30 meters of the pitch, when there is their job to figure it out. of course there are some patterns and stuff that is practiced but when its not working or teams suss it out its up to the individual players to make stuff happen.

you dont see kdb, foden, gundogan, doku or savinho being as shy with the ball as grealish and bernardo, each player reads the game in a different way

He wasn't great, but he wasn't bad either.
He was pretty bad. Offered absolutely fuck all in attack, rarely even a passing option for Gvardiol as he kept making pointless off the ball movements inside and then the one thing that is usually a given with him is he at least takes care of the ball with his risk averse mentality but today he twice failed to make a bog standard 10 yard pass back inside which led to breaks that fulham should and nearly did score from.

I've always liked watching Jack play, but the simple fact (in my opinion) is that he isn’t half the player he was at Villa... not even fleetingly.
If, as we believe, he's been sticking firmly to instruction, Pep's not done Jack (nor the fans) any favours whatsoever.
Who still believes that? Peps said numerous times he gives and wants his wingers to have the freedom to do what they feel, he's not under any instructions to play safe.

why would pep tell grealish to retain possession as the priority and then have his alternative on the left in Doku who if anything can be argued takes too many risks? He's not giving completely polarising instructions to his 2 left wing options. They're both allowed to do what they feel within the constraints of the game plan, grealish just chooses not to be a threat and keeps it safe every time doku chooses not to have any restraint and goes for it every time.

The hope was they'd take a leaf from one another's book and you'd have two much better players, still waiting on that.

Look at Doku's dribbling/take on stats... They wouldn't be so high if Pep was restricting their freedom, wanting them to keep the ball and not take risks in the final third of the pitch.

We have to stop making excuses for players performances. Grealish has been okay so far this season, but he has to really up his numbers this season. We let a player leave this football club that scored 22 league goals last season that wasn't given a proper chance.

If the likes of Grealish and Doku don't improve their standards... It's time for us to dip back into the market for a winger upgrade.

Standards have to be higher because once Pep leaves, we won't have it all our own way. Things will get a lot, lot harder for us.
