Having seen Pep’s reaction and how angry he clearly is I reckon Jack’s done here if Pep extends.
Honestly I wouldn’t be too bothered whether he goes either way.
That’s not a reaction to this call up, that’s cos as much as I like Jack and the control he offers us, he just doesn’t get enough assists or goals.
That was fine and dandy when the rest of the team were scoring, but now it’s becoming a concern.
Jack doesn’t score enough, Doku doesn’t really score, though he offers a threat and teams double up on him which should create space for others.
Gundogan used to chip in with important goals but now doesn’t look like he’s getting any either.
Bernardo recently doesn’t look like scoring.
Savinho hasn’t scored though he looks the most likely goal scorer out of the ones I’ve mentioned and has been unlucky so far not to get on the score sheet on at least a few occasions.
Kev and Rodri being injured has cost us some important goals and the threat they bring.
One of the biggest problems we have right now is the lack of goal scorers in the team.
Opposition simply mark Haaland out of the game and know we don’t offer enough of a goal threat anywhere else on the pitch.
If it wasn’t for Gvardiol and Stones scoring some important goals recently we’d be in deeper trouble.
Time to get back to scoring goals all across the team.
We need our fear factor back.
The exact conversation I have with my son, we have very little goal threat now so teams double and treble up on Haaland, hence why look at our other goals recently and they’ve been scored by defenders!

Hopefully if Kev can comeback (and stay fit) it’ll give the team a huge lift and give the opposition something else to worry about.
He’s the best game changer we’ve got, he can change a game in an instant with a goal or a pass.
Maybe abit of luck for Savinho will do.
I feel he’s frustrated at the minute and one goal from him and he’ll start banging them him and change his mindset.

Sadly a combination of injuries and age mean Kev is more likely to be a shadow of himself with occasional glimpses of his brilliance. We cannot and should not have factored in Kev as an integral part of the plan for 24/25 season.

I don’t get all this Grealish obsessing.

Not enough is made of what he brings to the squad, he is clearly an important personality in both City and Eng squads.

We play much better when he is fit and in the team. Much better. A bit more recognition of this might be helpful.

At the end of the day he is back training, why shouldn’t he continue that with England?

I don’t get the whining.

Rather have Nunes on the left! He is always looking for Haaland to be through ball to him and he gets assists to Grealish doesn't get enough of them!

Yeah, pep is just about refraining from going all in on him in public but watching that he's not happy that grealish is very clearly putting country before club here at a time where we need full commitment. That's bound to majorly piss off pep, and rightly so.

You wouldn't? I'd love van de ven, he'd be my number 1 choice for defensive reinforcement, if throwing grealish into the deal secured that, I'd do it tomorrow. Bissouma could also be very useful for our rodri shaped hole in midfield. Pedro porro would be our first choice right back if we hadn't sold him, son even just a few years off retirement is better than any winger we currently have. Plenty of quality at spurs.
I don't rate any of the Spurs players. Especially their defenders. They don't add to what we currently have. Sell Grealish with no swaps.

Did Grealish know he was being picked for England before the training on Friday and that's why he trained,
Pep also said Jack had been in the gym for a couple of days as well so maybe a message got to him about he needs to train on Friday so he could be picked

Now if City and Pep had not been involved or informed then Grealish is done at City and rightly so
You can not go behind the backs of the club and Pep and sort of bad for the fans as well, it's naughty

Maybe this is why Pep in the pre-match interview looked pissed off

I've defended Jack to the hilt, but if he doesn't withdraw from the England squad, he's done with City, doesn't matter how disappointed he was missing out on the euros, if your not fit for your club your definitely not fit for your country.
No way of wrapping this up - he's done the dirty on City, Pep and us fans! My ex-nextdoor neighbour's son worshipped the fellah - the shirt and when he got a ticket for City he'd always ask to sit down the side where Jack would trundle as least for one half of the game. I thought Grealish was better than what seems to be over this tawdry little episode.

We played our best football in 2017-18 and then 2018-19 under Pep. Nothing can top that
I wonder what his value is now.
£30m and £150k.doubt anyone pays more
