10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Be nice if Guardiola could clear things up a bit at tomorrow's press conference. Is he fit, or not?

I'd like to assume he's asked about it. He can't really hide behind the injured line if he's OK to be called up by England. Or he isn't fit and Pep will have a go at England for calling him up anyway.

Either way, it'd be a bit of clarity.

Mind you, Pep did say he'd be back with City after the international break so whether that means the plan all along was that he'd get minutes with England to then come back to us? Not sure. Great if it works and England/Carsley are open to an agreed amount of minutes. Shite if it doesn't work and he aggravates an injury.

Needs to pull himself out. Ridiculous if he hasn't been available for 5 games but goes on international duty. If he's fit then the weeks training at the cfa practicing how to take a man on will do him good.
I think its was probably pulling himself out that caused the groin strain in the first place :-)

After Rodri, Grealish is the most reliable player in possession and our percentage stats will increase. This won't necessarily lead to more goals, but it will guarantee less counter attacks from pacy opponents.

Last 3 games -
73% vs Sporting
65% vs Bournemouth
68% vs Tottenham

Jack's last 3 starts -
62% vs Newcastle
59% vs Inter
53% vs Brentford

Also only kept 1 clean sheet in games he's started.
