10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

People calling him instantly better than all our CMs is Hilarious. There was nothing to suggest he did better than others. Game was over and every one was just waiting for FT. Well I guess his mere presence makes him better than everyone by default

Not sure it’s the time to be laughing at Pep.

I would try something like this...

--------------------Ederson---------------------------
Walker-----John------------Ruben---------Gvardiol
-----------------------Kova-----------------------------
-------------Bernie-----------Grealish-----------------
-----------------------Foden------------------------------
-------------KDB---------------Haaland-------------------

Rico / Savio / Doku / Matheus lack end product and I trust them more as an impact subs or rotation players.
Gundo is old enough to start the games..
Akanji and Ake from the bench.
Oscar Bobb incoming...

So we have a team here, it's time to start winning the games.

Matheus's end product is 2nd only to Haaland this season. 8:1 vs Grealish's.

Shay Given was going on last night about what a waste of talent Grealish is stuck out on the left just retaining the ball. Have to say i completely agree with him. Hopefully now is the time we finally see him as a left sided 8. Frankly i’d be astonished if he can’t offer more than Gundo and Rico at the moment.

I genuinely think he has more potential for us in the middle, but part of this is him accepting that he's supposed to be more for us than he is currently. Give him the keys to the machine and see how he handles it. Watched him at the Feyenoord game and he just seemed so passive and almost reluctant to try and impact the game.
