More rumours today now about a move to Germany, it's looking clearer by the day that his time with us is coming to an end.

Crap signing overall, all that money and wages. No goals for a year, now doesn't look interested ....imagine if that was Raz or Mahrez, the stick he'd get.
"now doesn't look interested"

He looks like he is half baked recently, something clearly not right, maybe he knows he is not wanted and is gutted?

I will always wish Jack Grealish the best of luck whatever he does. He seems a humble, compassionate guy, and was part of the most successful English football team in history, helping to give us the greatest moments. I think he will probably move on, if not now, in the summer. If nothing else, the end of this thread will be more than welcome.

I don't give a shit what anyone said, 100m on Jack Grealish is well worth spend especially he is one of the reason of why the club get treble.

It's better for Jack to move on if Pep doesn't think he have use in squad anymore, so none of his brain dead haters have any reason and always blames Jack if everything is wrong in the club.

You would get some likes for that. Rinse and repeat and you could rack up a decent amount of likes. Smart kid, You're on the right track.

He's always been a player that thrived on the external validation of being vital to a team. He's never really had that here for obvious reasons.

Lot of rumours flying around but nothing concrete. I think a summer move may be more likely than January, but anything could happen.

I like him as a player and a person and I think at the height of his fitness and confidence he's had some really good games for us. But both fitness and confidence have been a struggle for him for too long and he seems to be caught in a cycle of injury and demotivation. He's 29, if he can get his head and body right there's still a few years of a top-level career in there. I'm just not sure he'll get the chance at City.

Rumours that Inter are interested, that might be a nice move for him. A top club in a league where his lack of a burst of speed might be less of a problem, and a side that plays in a style that would create space for him. Not to mention the obvious perks of living in Milan.

He played a very specific role for us in the system that won the treble and he did it well. But tactics evolve and Pep seems to be looking for a different type of winger now, and we don't really have room for him in the middle.

Would not be shocked if Pep starts him wednesday. Big away games in europe jack had always done well for us.

I think Jack's lifestyle has caught up with him, great talent but he's obviously pissed Pep off. He can still be an asset to the club but he looked so unhappy when he came on against Ipswich. Was that the first minutes he'd had since before Christmas?

I hope he sorts himself out, he gives us control when playing, if he'd have been brought on against Brentford there's a good chance they wouldn't have scored those two late goals.

Pep brought on Mubama (20), O'Reilly (19), McAtee (22), Rico (20) and Grealish - 5 English players which is positive. But a little message to Grealish about where he stands at the moment!

I hope he can get back to his best, really like him as a bloke and he's great to watch when on form...just needs to find it and quick or he will be out in the summer.

For me he’s just not at our level, first season here was poor, couldn’t even get on the pitch when we was desperate in that Villa game, we turned to Raz, who delivered a great assist to get us up and running.

2nd season his first 3/4 months shocking. The rest of the team was no better at that point I might add, the teams form picked up and he was part of some great team performances don’t get me wrong but all this it couldn’t have been won without him I don’t believe to be true but is something we will never truly know.

Last season was a shocker again and this season is the same, people talk up his treble season like he was as good as De Bruyne or Rodri or even the likes of Mahrez and Haaland. He wasn’t, played his part in some great team performances but let’s not go overboard. The bar that has been set for him is incredibly low for the levels we are used to. He’s a good footballer I don’t doubt but not our level, stats aside, he just doesn’t pass the eye test for me.

He’d be an excellent squad player to bring on when winning tight games but surely there’s got to be more to his game to warrant some of the plaudits he gets.

Just my opinion but think we had so many great players in good form at the end of the treble season you don’t notice inadequacies in some players but as we’ve let more go and players have got older etc. there’s more pressure on him to step up and he just can’t.

I personally like him, think he’s a great lad and wish him all the best wherever he plays but think the club need to aim higher. Let’s see what type of clubs are in for him if he is available.
Great post. Jack has run his race with City. He looks very unfit. Like so many talented players he doesn’t seem to have long term application. Very popular for his genuine attitude to fans and the community. But that’s not enough in elite level sport. He did play his part in the treble season. That was his peak.

But the other players that were important to us ( and there are a lot) in winning a shed load of trophies didn't cost 100m and they are are still proving their worth, whether with us or with other clubs.
