I honestly can't see why he's not a regular starter in a number 10 role. Offers so much more control than Phil Foden imo.
Id like to see him tried there as well, players cant get the ball off him, can slow the tempo, and picks out great passes.

Im thinking this version of Phil that plays so deep is not the best for him? Maybe Phil should just be allowed to float around the striker more and take more shots.

Still think he will be moved on this summer. He will still fetch upwards of £40m and I think the club will feel his time at City has just gone stale.

For him to flourish he has to be playing every week to get the confidence and flow into his game. He won't get that City next season with Pep looking like he is going down the Sane and Sterling style football again.

It’s a shame he’s likely come and gone without ever being utilised properly. He’s won trophies and made a shitload of money, but he’s underachieved individually.

If Forest make the Champions League I can see them moving for him

First half for me he was shocking but came into it more second half, a hugely talented footballer but he seems to have lost so much passion and enthusiasm.

Also his fitness is a major issue, constantly blowing hard.

We would be lucky to get 20 million for him. Big teams don't want him, and mid-table and lower-league clubs would want someone with a better end product.
I could see him going to Italy on a loan

Okay, I thought my take was going to be controversial but, actually, it's been echoed a few times.

Grealish plays like he loves being around the lads but either the game or being at City, with its high demands, has left him. You can see it in goal celebrations, for example.

He's ready to leave this stage behind him for whatever's different for him.

Bernardo went through a similar stage before getting his head back in the game.

Grealish, however and unfortunately, is beyond that.

really liked his performance yesterday, felt like a lot came through him and he was always looking for the right pass. He was always on the ball

Agreed, for me he is a far better footballer than Foden, well at least this seasons version of Foden.

I do wonder if fitness/stamina is a worry playing in CM or the No10 role.

Of course he can do more but I thought he played well overall. One of his better games for us this season.

Wasn’t difficult to improve on this seasons performances, even though the greens played very defensively Jack has the skill to take on and beat full backs…all the confidence he had seems to have been coached out of him…….

Not bothered about his price tag because obviously that’s not down to him but after nearly 4 years with us he’s failed to live up to expectations and showed no signs of being a force in the team…..

Always seems to take that unnecessary second touch and by then the killer pass/shot opportunity has gone
Agree with this too, he’s ponderous. But felt like he was looking for the cross and no fucker to cross it to a lot of the time. Needs to just shoot like you say. Still, felt like he did well and had a lot of control.
