"week after week" - how did you expect the response to be, pedantic?

Do you not maybe think a few of the squad go out? But maybe thats not newsworthy? But grealish being out is ?
No one is debating any of that and most would agree. He cost £100 million, he's on a shit load of money every week, he's one of the more experienced players in the squad, at this stage of his career he shouldn't be a rotation player, he should be one of the mainstays who we build the team around, I've defended Jack, but his lack of self control and professionalism doesn't sit right with me.
Honestly it doesnt overly bother me. Hes hd a few clearly but i imagine nights out are usually with peps blessingYou tell me, it appears not really, oh then again there was Walker, but thing is whenever others go out they seem to act in a normal reasonable matter maybe, not bladdered staggering in the street, but you know everyone can have an opinion.
I won't be silly here, by asking if you are a fan of his, but you got to admit that it's not a great look is it?
Eh, because he's our record signing on high wages perhaps? It's funny how everyone is getting wound up over a rotation player.
If you're still upset about it after how he was last season and has largely been unavailable this season, then I don't know what to tell you.Eh, because he's our record signing on high wages perhaps?
Maybe the incentive to play well is the ridiculous amount he gets paidI thought he was poor on Saturday, that being said I don't blame any lack of commitment from him now when selected. Came on at PSG - scored, started against Salford and got a coupe of assists and a goal, assisted the winner against Orient and assisted the assist fantastically against Madrid before going off early.
I know straight away people will say look at the opposition but they are the only games he is getting a sniff at lately. What is the point in performing in them games to then get next to no minutes in the next game. He deserves a shot centrally, KDB, Gundog and Bernardo still get their minutes despite a very poor season. He has no incentive to play well now, when he does he gets left out next game.

There is an actual point there though. Grealish has generally been playing better than Foden, for instance, over the last 2 months with good games against Salford, PSG and Orient yet he isn't considered even as a sub for a PL game. Meanwhile, Foden can ghost through consecutive games and still be a consistent starter. Say what you will about the level of competition, but at least he's played relatively solid in the chances he's given. Not sure if serious…

Regardless, Grealish hasn't been consistently fit or available which probably is why he plays when he does.
I didn't ask or answer any question, you're just reaching for the sake of an argument. I just said the person you originally replied to had a point and I gave reasons as to why form doesn't seem that big of a consideration for selection this season. Just because someone can play better in a position and has done so historically doesn't mean they're going to continue to do so game after game. Anyone's form can fall off a cliff to never return and clinging to who a player was at a point in the past and ignoring their current output doesn't help the player or the team around them.Asked and answered your own question, but we got there.
Also, it’s horses for courses. Just as Havk wasn’t drafted as a center back when we first gave any, so he hadn’t been asked to play where Foden has shown he can play better than Grealish.
Grealish’s problem is that he has shown himself to be almost one dimensional, and is thus only used in that role. When given the chance to play inside he didn’t go much.
Lastly, we don’t see and hear what happens away from the glare of the spotlights. Pep and his coaches do. If Jack was fit and at it, he’d be undroppable. At present, would you leave Savinho or Doku out of a big game to give him a start?
Btw, have you EVER heard a single bad word about Savinho or Doku’s off field exploits? Gundo? KDB? Bernardo? Kovacic? Gvardiol? Ortega? Ederson? Rico? Nico 1 or 2? Even Haaland?
Hmmm…maybe there’s a lesson in there?
You reiterate above that his form doesn’t seem to be a big consideration, yet ended your last message with his numerous injuries…asked and answered!I didn't ask or answer any question, you're just reaching for the sake of an argument. Our other wide players have pace, seem capable of taking on a man and either getting a cross on or having a crack at goal. Jack? Not so much…tap, tap, tap, step across your man, go down, get a foul. You call him one-dimensional, but that's the role he's played since day one at the club so it looks like he's just following the instructions he's been given and they haven't changed since. Whether he can play another role is to be determined, but he won't get the opportunity to prove it.
You don’t need to speculate. If there was a story, it would be front and center. The Press doesn’t care who the salacious stories are about, they just want clicks.I'm also not defending his behavior or saying he deserves more game time than anyone else. You're just making points for something that isn't even being debated. Like you said, "we don’t see and hear what happens away from the glare of the spotlights" so I'm not going to bother speculating on what the other players do in their free time.
He’s one dimensional on the left wing because what he does there is literally all he’s capable of doing. You call him one-dimensional, but that's the role he's played since day one at the club so it looks like he's just following the instructions he's been given and they haven't changed since. Grealish’s issue is the same as Kalvin Phillips’. They lack intelligence and so their ceiling is lower that if they had it.He’s one dimensional on the left wing because what he does there is literally all he’s capable of doing.
He’s a midfielder but it’s far too late to give him a chance through the middle with his injuries.
