Fucking hell.
Never have I see our fanbase turn against a City player since, well, Mahrez.
He's committed, but hardly gets picked, but it's his fault.
He cares about the club, the fans and gets our culture, but he cost £100m, which is his fault.
He's not a striker, but doesn't score 30 goals a season, so it's his fault.
He didn't have the stats when he played for Villa, and has had slightly better at City, but that's his fault.
He was the driving force in the winter of our Treble season, grabbing the club by the scruff of it's neck 'Andy Morrison Style', but he's had a few bad months recently, so our downturn is his fault.
He's won the Premier League x3, FA Cup and Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, for this football club, yet he's 'failed' at City.
Fuck y'all. Viva Jack and if he does leave this summer, i'll be sad to see him go. An honourable, likable, charismatic and characteristic personality that gave this club part of it's soul in the Mansour Era, clearly tormented by some demons yet some of our fanbase want to see the back of him rather that rally round him. I don't know what some Blues want, sometimes. Foden's next, right?
I guess you didn't see Ged Brannan, Nigel Clough, Danny Mills, Gerry Creaney, Neil Heaney, Craig Russell, Kit Symons, Alan Kernaghan, Barry Conlon, Eike Immel, Simon Tracey,' Lee Bradbury, Steve Daley and Steve Mcmanaman then.Worst signing ever for the money. Decent player but £100m and £350k a week wages ?
Biggest waste of money this club has ever spent on one player.
He is shit. 300k/week for nothing.
compare him to our squad not the rags. He’s been a failure . Imagine not scoring a whole year and not being able to get left. The amount of time he needs to get a shot off is crazy
Becuase it's RUINED his Fantasy Football team and his stats on EA FC 24 are shite! Why do you value individual stats over City's results? In his first 3 seasons when he was playing we won 3 PLs and the CL. Grealish has started 1 PL defeat in the last 2 seasons.
I think the £100m fee brings an awful lot of pressure and Grealish is the only £100m player to win the CL with the club who paid that fee. Is every current £100m player shit then? If Wirtz signs and doesn't win the CL will he be shit as well?
£100m and in return you get Champions of England three more times, an FA Cup, Champions League Treble Accolade, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup...i'd consider that the bargain of the century for most Blues who grew up in the 'Relegation Era'.As there are extremely rag like posts on this thread I'm just going to bring those cunts into it
From the British transfer record I see that with Law, cole and ferdinand in each of their EC/CL winning teams they had a player in the squad who was the British transfer record at the time they were bought. Yet I never hear that mentioned anywhere and certainly not from the repetitive posters on this thread. I also seldom hear mentioned that Eusebio missed a one on one vs Alex Stepney (how the fuck does that happen?), Bayern hit the woodwork 4 times or Terry slipped.
Now the British transfer record fee covers both bought and sold so Grealish isn't even mentioned in the list. I have googled highest transfer fees paid by English clubs and it just defaults to British transfer record fee so I don't really understand why all the bedwetters on here are so fucking sensitive about the £100m fee. It may be possible to obtain a list of highest fees paid by PL clubs but to provide historical context you'd need to omit the likes of Wilkins, Hughes, Rush and Waddle from the 80s, Keegan from the 70s, John Charles from the 50s etc.
Large transfer fees have been paid by teams at the top in English football for over 130 years and City paid a large fee, but not a transfer record, for a player who won 3 PLs and the CL encompassing a treble and 4 in a row for the first time in the history of English football - so fucking what?
Fucking hell.

There was a thread full of Grealish hate on here which the mods locked after those who slagged him off complained about other fans doing the same once he signed.
He is a modern day Steve Daley, an okay player who signed for an absolute fortune, did okay in patches but judged a lot on his price tag.
Putting down everything won in his time towards him is very deluded, a bit like Eamonn Dunphy arse liking Keane.
He won a fucking treble FFS.I guess you didn't see Ged Brannan, Nigel Clough, Danny Mills, Gerry Creaney, Neil Heaney, Craig Russell, Kit Symons, Alan Kernaghan, Barry Conlon, Eike Immel, Simon Tracey,' Lee Bradbury, Steve Daley and Steve Mcmanaman then.
What value do you put on winning the treble and 4 titles in a row for the first time in the history of English football?
He was part of the team that did and that's factualHe won a fucking treble FFS.
The problem here is that people acting like Grealish WAS THE REASON we won the champions league. Obviously everyone has their own opinion. My opinion is that he’s a flop who contributed nothing special in 3 1/2 years and is getting away with it. The fact that he is already called backpass and foul merchant On social media says it all. Another funny thing is that he is used on the wrong position when he was always a left wing. Yes he had more freedom to roam but he started all his actions at Villa from the left. When you look at Savinho and others I doubt Pep gave only him the job „ to keep the ball under any circumstances“ and to not attack the oppositions goal. That makes no sense towards what pep said at the beginning at the season when we were on a losing streak. Grealish just happened to be lucky we won the champions league. He contributed but overall he was absolute horrible. Didn’t score a goal in over a year. Even Nunes who gets slagged off here all the time played like 4 games a winger and easily outscored himWhy do you value individual stats over City's results? He's a squad player who HAS contributed to arguably our greatest ever period in Manchester City Football Club history.....and you, as a 'Blue'...resent him, for it?The problem here is that people acting like Grealish WAS THE REASON we won the champions league. He just isn’t worth 100M and gets praised for doing nothing. Thats what I am confused of. When I see the slag others get I wonder where all this fan boys are coming from . I saw Nunes getting hate for not scoring in a game as a LW while Grealish gets praised for keeping the ball and never shooting until 3 players are in front of him to block his shotHe's a squad player who HAS contributed to arguably our greatest ever period in Manchester City Football Club history.....and you, as a 'Blue'...resent him, for it?
He didn't ASK to be valued at £100m. Villa and our owners did. All he has done is try his hardest to live up to that price tag, an IMPOSSIBLE task. Look at Rice at Arsenal, and compare him to the trophies Jack has won.He just isn’t worth 100M and gets praised for doing nothing. Thats what I am confused of
In his best season for City he was the 13th most played player, he was never some stalwart, no where near the reliability of a Cancelo, Bernardo or Sterling for example. It's not putting everything won down to Grealish but it's a team sport and Grealish was part of the team who won the treble and 4 in a row and usually for English clubs who have won the CL (and European Cup before that) it's been a case of building an experienced team over a number of years to get across the line.
To compare Grealish with Steve Daley means you have to completely disregard City's results achieved when they played.
