He has not signed anything, but him and his agent have agreed to a move.
His family have suggested Newcastle but I've checked it out since and they don't expect to be losing Gordon on the left, and don't see how they can make the numbers work.
I fear a loan move with someone picking up 50 per cent of his wages until he walks for free.
Spurs for me. Maddison isn't reliable with injuries and inconsistency and bringing Grealish in would give the club a big lift and suggest they 'mean business'.
However, if it was them, I'd take Levy to the cleaners. £40m for anybody else? £50m for him. Loan with us paying some wages? Loan with him paying all wages. Sly fuck.

Wouldn’t eat on it…..he played centrally a few games ago and played well, next game didn’t play if I rememberAnnoyingly, the position he played on Sunday suits him perfectly. Playing as a '10' but with freedom to roam about a bit and dictate play. Hope he gets more chances there as he builds up fitness and rhythm.

Can’t see much logic in that. What a waste of a £100m investment. If this happens there really must be a big rift, presumably to do with personalities as much as anything.

Case of cutting loses I assume. In principle I'd say it would be better to just keep him around if we can't sell him but if he's on the £400k a week he's "reported" to be on, saving over £10m by loaning him out might be the most sensible option. Thats not an insignificant amount. City could in theory knock £250 off every season card holders ticket next season with that saving and still have 7 figures spare.Can’t see much logic in that. I would hate to see.him play in a position that did not suit him.
Looked like he was playing more as a false 9 to me which doesn't seem to work with Marmoush on the left since he drifts into the middle to be a goal threat. Putting Grealish on the left and Marmoush through the middle would've been better since Grealish has shown he can ping that little chip over the top for Marmoush to run on to. If we had wingers who make runs in behind the line in transition, Grealish in the false 9 could work but we just don't move the ball up fast enough to take advantage of that space. Unfortunately we probably won't see Grealish as a 10 again, if at all at this point.Annoyingly, the position he played on Sunday suits him perfectly. That seemed more a pity appearance than getting a chance to prove himself for more game time. He's been out of favor for a while and Pep doesn't seem to be showing any new found faith in him. He probably only got picked to start because Doku's only use recently has been coming on as a late sub to run at tired legs if we're looking for an equalizer/winner. Grealish stayed on because we scored early and needed to slow the game down and defend with possession.He's still getting picked so maybe there is a chance he fights for his place

Watch it again he pissed up possession on at least a couple of occasions. It's over for Jack here, if the truth be told it never started. I have seen several posts mentioning he had a great season in the treble campaign . He had a good 3 months max( by his own admission showed up in neither final ). No, Doku didn’t start because Marmoush played from the left. No matter what, his time here is done.
LW is Marmoush or Doku.
He played in the dual false 9 role with Lewis and Lewis showed a better performance.
Plus the plethora of others who can easily play there like Foden, McAtee, Bobb or Echeverri.
Even if its a loan, just get his wages off, free up minutes for others.
