Given all you have mentioned above, I would say that was a brilliant season for a 20year old, learning Pep football on his first season and having those injuries.He was in and out of the side during the first half along with injuries. It is indeed although Doku has stilled looked FAR more polished and less rough around the edges than Sane was IMO.He was in and out of the side during the first half along with injuries. Palmer was levels above him today. His composure throughout was everything that Doku lacked.
Palmer was anonymous until he went central, then he came alive.

Behave. He wasn't anonymous at any point. Constantly looked like one of the few players that could always make something happen that was on the pitch.

I thought subbing him for the additional control from Grealish was the right idea but it didn’t pan out at all. We lost all creativity on the left and didn’t gain any control.

Absolute bomb scare of a decision to sell him, even more so for the price we did.
