Christ the lads just come back from an injury give him a break

Was surprised he actually started today, but he will be an important player over the next few months against teams tiring after a long season

Strange how people don't seem to make the same sort of excuses for other players when they're coming back from injury.

Indeed regardless the player it's very stupid takes, judging the form of that said player who recently coming from injury.

Didnt have the horrendous game the many plebs on the matchday forum inferred , first game back after a lay off and he drew three defenders every time he got the ball , which made space for others.
His final ball let him down , but he is young and that will improve under Pep

0/10 is ridiculously harsh.

As for Trippier, Doku kept inverting which was clearly instructed of him by Pep. Idk why he wasn't holding the width more and trying to get more opportunities isolated versus him.

1 pep wants number advantage on the front line - at least 5 heads better to be 6
2 Kova is not suitable to be too close to the box and we cannot put Rodri on the front line for obvious reason
3 so fullback has to push up to make the numbers

now we have 1 fullback + 2 wingers + 1 striker + 1 midfielder = 5
when the other fullback also pushes up we have 6

Which is stupid, Doku is recently coming off from injury. Understandable he is not back on top yet.

Shame people couldn't acknowledge this about Grealish when he was coming back to fitness earlier this season, eh?
