So what you're saying is that we see what they can't see or something to that effect.
Amended response:
Yes, City see a whole bunch that others don't see.
We signed both Haaland and Alvarez combined for less than ManUre paid for Hojlund. Yet they continue to say its all about money...

Agreed.

By the way, Pep's discussion by today puts to bed the notion that Pep 'instructs his wingers' specifically Jack to not attack his defender early one v one.

It's clear our wingers have the greenlight to attack their defenders at will, unless it's a clear bad decision, then you can go backwards and rotate.

Jack slowing down to rotate the ball is NOT by instructions. Rather, it's his decision to make based on what he sees. Clearly, he and Doku are making different decisions often playing the same role.

Yeah, agreed. The difference is that Jack and Doku's 'openings' to go at their full backs are different because their skillsets are.

Grealish needs to wait for there to be enough space to stand up his full back before maybe going round him or making a decisive pass once he's doubled up on - which was a really successful tactic last season (Jack -> Gundo for Bernardo's second goal vs Madrid a prime example).

Doku, however, only needs a yard and to be far enough away from the touchline to burst past his full back. He has that rapid standing start which not many, if any other than Walker, full backs have in their locker. Especially when they don't know when/if he's going to do it so he's 1 second ahead already.

It's great to have two wingers who are basically chalk and cheese in their play styles because no matter the type of defence we come up against, we'll have an answer on that left-hand side. If one isn't working, bring the other one on. Or have one on the left, one on the right and target whichever side is having the most joy early on.

Stinks of racial bias every time he’s called raw or people just reference his pace
That's nonsensical thinking. The rawness is mostly people mistaking his inferior ball control or touch as an underdevelopment. That's simply his level. Which is on par with Haaland's.

His pace ( or quickness to be more accurate) is real. And it isn't racial when referenced. No one references Akanji or Rico's pace and they too are black.

Stop finding racism where none exists. It's annoying.

My meaning was the need to develop his in game decisions. When to attack the byline/space and when to cut back and recycle the ball.

At the moment, Doku is doing too much of the former, whereas Grealish does too much of the latter.

He might be an American fan.
Everything is about race over there.
