Why better suited to the bench? Was really good on the right when he started against Villa and the best player on the pitch last Saturday

Just feel he seems to struggle to grow into the game when he starts, the slow tempo we use doesn't help this

Then he's already a bit tired by the time the game opens up. Think he tires quite quickly relative to our other players, probably because he does so many sprints they are more tiring

I called him it for that tackle at Anfield, but iv also fought his corner when people said he wasn’t good enough, which is crock of shit because he’s changed the tempo of a few games this season, when we’ve needed it.

I think what he is currently showing is a lack of composure and decision-making after beating his man /men and getting himself into good positions.

It is those aspects of his game which detract from his performances currently.

When we talk about players needing a season to get used to playing for Pep, he’s the one. He can frustrate the life out of us with his lack of end product but he has shown enough to give us hope that he can do it. He has something.
