A goal involvement every 154 minutes is good for a winger in a dysfunctional team. The last two assists at home were vital for our CL chances.

Hopefully, he can improve next season.
He has to improve ,if he wants a great career in this team ,but i don´t have much hope of him improving his shooting. If you dont master it at an early age ,it is really difficult to change later in career.

A goal involvement every 1.5 games ia not bad at all.

Personally I think there's been some really good signs that he is progressing in the last couple of league games when he's made key contributions at vital moments.
There definitely has been but one bad game and he’ll have people on his back again.

Goal involments in the league:

Doku every 154 minutes
Yamal every 138 minutes

Given that Yamal is one of the top candidates for Ballon d'Or, Doku is not as unproductive as some on here portray him.

Yes, he can improve further, and it's likely to happen given that he's not in his prime and this season is transitional, but he is doing fine. He has made decisive contributions in the most crucial period this season.

I'm guessing that City have been encouraging Doku to cross slightly earlier whilst also working on his left foot distribution.
It helps when he actually has team mates busting a gut to get into a goalscoring position, but there's definitely been an improvement to his overall contribution.

Been pivotal in getting us into the position we are in last few games.

That said, both he and Savinho don’t contribute enough goals. Both need to be scoring more.

Both Sane and Sterling played in more stable with all our best prime players in their prime.

Doku and Savinho are in a team in transition, poorly planned through the years by the higher ups, not fully fair to compare.

I still agree, they need to improve.

But so does nearly every other young player we want here long term.

I can’t pin point the reason but I think Doku will take a huge leap forward next season. Savinho will of course progress but I think his progress will be a bit slower

Doku needs to stay fit and healthy and have a long period of playing, then I’m sure we’ll see the real player - with confidence and work rate, all this stop start because of niggling injuries has stumped his progress in the team.

If we are seriously in for Rodrygo I think Doku will be sacrificed, huge potential but does not score or assist enough and misses a lot of games every season, great impact player but a regular in a title chasing side I am not convinced.

Are we going to play with two wingers, Rodrygo and Savinho, all season? We can't rely only on Bobb as a squad winger.

Grealish, on the other hand, might leave.

Grealish 100% leaves, I also think Doku will also, clubs will pay big money for him and I would think we would be tempted.
We need more goals and assists in our side.

This doesn't answer my point. Bobb can't be the only squad winger next season. Given our summer schedule and the lack of enough rest, we'll need a big squad next season.

Omar and Foden will be the starters, with Doku/Savio/Bobb filling in and around i expect.
