Agree with the midfield point, but Pep is switching back to tricky wingers so we need players coming into the box with them. When it was SAS years, Sterling was great at coming across to be that person for the tap in.very good point.
But on the other hand if the midfielders push front with them what if they lose the ball and will KDB Bernado or Kova fast enough to recover the counter attack if they have already in the opposite box? KDB maybe have the pace but he is not very good at defending. Kova and Bernado (as well as Rodri) are not very pacy.
In a team with loads of fast midfielders they can push up more bodies. Our squad didn't build like that. We prioritize midfielders skills over pace.
Its a new tactic will be interesting how the dilema you talked about will be worked out.
