think this argument is far more eye test than numbers. Sane was improving and looking a better player in S2, Doku for me looks the exact same player we signed so far this season.

Sane and Sterling were also part of the greatest teams ever assembled and considered THE best youngsters in the world.

Savio and Doku, while likely not THE best wingers in the world, are on the tail end of the team on a decline and more part of a rebuild.

I think there is an argument to be had mate, I do agree.

Savio, however, did join us younger than Doku though and it's his first season in England, Doku is on his second season.

Doku has also played 6 seasons in Europe's top leagues. This is Savio's second full season in Europe.

think as well because he made La Liga team of the season last year you have to consider a more promising player there.

To be honest - stick Doku n Savinho in those City teams and you more than likely get a similar return.

Even Sterling looked good.

For me he's entertaining and exciting. We haven't had much of that lately and therefore I'm happy when he's in the team.

About his stats, level of improvement or contribution to the team, I think there's and asterisk against a lot of individual performances this season because the team as a whole has been wank. It's hard to be a standout performer in such circumstances.

He's not in the senior group either and therefore I think he's less accountable for the poor performances than others.

Next season will be a big one though I think. Not make or break, but you'd hope for some signs of improvement/maturity.

Both will be here a long time, so wanting one of them sold will never happen.

That said, Id personally like to see Doku less forced out wide, and for Pep to rotate between him and Marmoush in an inverted LW role.

Savio's shootinf is horrendous, so sticking him wide to create is good.

But Doku, like Marmoush, would thrive mlre closer to the box, he wants to score goals more than create, I hope Pep adapts to this.

I think Doku has been great. The problem does not lie with him but in the central midfield. There is no one getting into the box. When players got in the box they messed up see Haaland and Foden in the last game.

We need to be ruthless and let go Grealish plus Doku or Savio .A established goal scoring winger is needed in the summer . The opponents know that if they stop Haaland our goal scoring threat is non existent .Even Aston Villa have better wingers than us
