There's next to no end product with him - such a frustrating playerNot good enough. To think we bought him and sold Palmer is beyond belief

That’s exactly how he should be utilised coming off the bench to hit tired legs and make an impact. His overall game is way off the level required to be starting games. He losses the ball regularly both trying to beat players and with sloppy passes and it puts us on the back foot. He’s a lazy fucker when it comes to tracking back. The left back has no chance when he’s playing.
Because of that, he needs to be dishing out numbers going forward. And he isn’t.
It’s hard to see him anything other than a fantastic impact player right now. Seems to be best when he can come on against a knackered defence.

I'll try to do better :)Jesus, man. Use paragraphs, please. :)
You’re claiming Doku is the best dribbler on the planet, claiming his ball technique is world class. Wow that is some statement. Then you claim his deficiencies are due to the coaches at city are being negligent with him.As a fan of Doku I am super critical of his deficiencies, but some of the criticism here is both superficial and over the top. First of all Doku is possibly the best dribbler on the planet. His on ball technique is worldclass. That is an insane potential if he develops into a more all rounded package. We're talking possibly one of the best players in the world. You don't get that in someone like Savinho so you pay a premium for that.
So the question is how to get him closer to that package. In order to do that you need to understand what his deficiencies actually are, and just parroting "production, end product, productivity" in a vacuum is really shallow and misses the point. The question is how do you get him in a situation where he makes more impact and also develops more. On this forum people constantly do that for Haaland, but not for Doku.
IMO it has to be coaching negligence that he isn't constantly shown videos about where he is on the pitch and where he should be. His lack of movement is the problem.
