Sometimes you’ve just got to go back to basics in football, but Pep doesn’t know basics I’m afraid he’s made the game too complicated as successful as he’s been, so no chance will we see any lumping it in the mixer for our 7ft striker to get on to, that’s too easy

Had a decent game as he was the game plan under no circumstances go down the middle just give it to Jeremy.

Kane knows when it’s not happening ie not getting the service so he will go looking for the game and make something happen
Haaland is either restricted by Pep or has no football brain when it ain’t happening which is almost 90 % of every game why doesn’t he move and drop deeper like Kane does
Get involved confuse his markers
Instead of ambling around doing half hearted presses on their goalie or centre backs

He needs to learn to move in a way that makes him receive the ball in a situation where you don't need more than one or two touches - take the shot or make the pass. If you need to progress the ball in the box every time you receive the ball in the final third you will inevitably lose the ball a lot or try stuff running full speed with the ball which given the way opponents defend against City is just not a poor offensive plan, especially with Haaland in there.
