Looked shaky first half, was brilliant second half other than when he went walkabout for the penalty incident.

Walkabout is a bit of an exaggeration.
I am sure that Dias was communicating and it looked like the situation was under control.
Dias and Stones playing so well has allowed all the full backs to be more adventurous.
The ball over the top is nearly always covered by one of the centre halves.
Just unfortunate that Dias miscontrolled.
No disputing that there are better left backs but at the moment with City it is as it is.

Just a steady utility player. He gets skinned every now and again and people jump to conclusions that he can’t defend. All full backs get skinned and have bad games when coming up against a good winger. We still need a left back as Mendy isn’t good enough to compete with Zinchenko.

There are very few players in the Premier League better at receiving the ball under pressure and finding a teammate. They just all happen to also play for City
There is no better left back in the country for doing what you describe above.
This man is integeral to how Pep plays and I cant believe some of the dross that is directed at him.
When he plays we win, check his win ratio.
He's not one of the superstars but he is part of the glue that makes us a team.
