Meh. His distribution is brilliant. His defensive awareness is first class. He contributes to our attack. Pep trusts him. Apart from that I agree. Totally gash.

He did give the ball away a few times in the first half but busted a gut to win the ball back. It does not worry me when he is named in the team unlike some of the other fringe players like Ake, Mendy (last season and the first few games of this) and sadly Fernandinho.
He is a great example to CFG and youth players that there is a chance to make the jump to the first team. He also deserves support from us given what is happening in his home country.

Contributed to a couple of goals but some of his defensive work was a bit sloppy. Lack of games though I think.

Not sure how anybody can have a bad word to say about him.
technically gifted player who is completely adept in playing Pepball in a position that isn’t his preferred, never moans when not in the team, loves being here, cost us pennies, we pay him pennies, generally allows us to build out from the back against any intensity of press and lets us rotate if cancelo needs a break or has to play on the right. The perfect squad player.

Really think any criticism of Zinchenko is unfair. His technique is brilliant and he is a great back up LB. Never let’s us down.
