That's quite amusing actually, because I don't agree with dirty old men getting their end away with children I'm prehistoric. This is why the thread is turning nasty, and what I'm saying is being taken the wrong way. He should be sent down for a long time, but when in court facts need to be established and the fact the young girl was sexually active, is relevant to the said case. That doesn't mean he should get away with the crime or get a less sentence. It's just a plain simple fact the jury need to be made aware of.

The thing is though Rick, this bloke knew she was underage and not just borderline underage. There was no ambiguity involved, I.e. picking her up in a pub/club, she was in a school uniform. I can understand that her sexual history was brought into the case to highlight that he didn't groom her and it has undoubtedly led to leniency. It was however, way too lenient. He should show responsibility and he deserves to do time.
