Not sure if mentioned but looks like the newcastle game was the first game of the season where we didn't concede a big chance

I initially read it as Phil BabbBibb AND Bobb? We’ll be unstoppable.
Play the game in front of us and worry about the Dips after that. Need to put out the strongest side and take it from there. Think we can beat Madrid - we have nothing to lose and suspect they think they have done the hard work.Don't want to alarm anyone but we might have to decide which is the more important game, Real or Dippers. The way our season is going, is he gonna stay fit for both?
Nico and Rodri together are going to be brutal. We buy a RB plus an A grade creative/attacking midfielder and we're set. Our team profile will be young and dynamic again, with Captain Haaland leading the front for 10 years.
This season will have been a blessing in disguise.
Reminds me a bit of the transition from 16/17 to 17/18. Only needed Ederson, Walker, and Bernardo to a lesser extent to reinvigorate thingsAgree fully, 3/4, weeks ago it looked like we needed a total rebuild.
On Saturday we had a youthful, exciting, energetic and dangerous front 4.
A really exciting number 6. A keeper only 31. Two cracking defenders in their early 20’s.
As you say, swap Kovacic, Gundogan and De Bruyne for another box to box midfielder, a 10 and bring in Cambiasso and we’re set for another 3/4 years.
A front 4 of Haaland, Savinho, Marmoush & Foden is as good as anything about bar possibly Madrid. But if we add Wirtz, we have Doku & Bobb those attacking options are good for nearly a decade.
Nico looked class, Madrid and the scousers will be a test so early in his career, I’m confident he’ll hold his own.
What was great, as others have pointed out, he took years off Gundogan. Hopefully he’ll do the same for Bernardo.
Ah, the first Plodri equivalents have begun.Didn't see the Newcastle game, but purely based on tonight so far, he's slow with a poor first touch and a bit out of his depth. Not that he's getting a lot of help from others tbf.
Well, he is slow but Rodri isn’t quick either. Think when the rest of the midfield can’t run or your centre backs it’s more of a problem than the actual 6Ah, the first Plodri equivalents have begun.
When our 6 looks slow, it’s because the system isn’t working.

Exactly. The distances between players was too big and all the players are scared to make a mistake when passing and so we don’t create anything.Well, he is slow but Rodri isn’t quick either. Think when the rest of the midfield can’t run or your centre backs it’s more of a problem than the actual 6
The whole set up was wrong. We just need to get out of tonight without a hiding and get top 5 for next season.I'm basing this on 45 mins I'll admit it, but this isn't just about his pace. He can clearly play better (and did on Sat) but today he's not playing well (as well as being slow)
There was one pathetic flick forward (which really annoyed me) when he should have got hold of the ball too
