That's not a dig at the likes of Kovacic, because he's not a "6" per se and he's done alright really.

Gundo looked better alongside Nico, as I'm sure Kova will if he plays with him because he can probably play his normal game alongside Nico.

Early days of course, but we actually looked like we had a midfield again.

I believe Nico has played as an "8" too, so he's more than just a back up for Rodri.

Going forward into next season. Obviously Rodri first 11 place is guaranteed. I don’t see why he and Nico can’t play together at CDM.
