Hung out to dry? If our record signing needs looking after by someone who shouldn’t be near the team then we’ve a big problem.
He should be told not to go within 15 yards of the ball just to give him a head start when it’s time to run back
I’d fancy my chances against him an I’ve had 6 cans of San Miguel and in my pyjamas.
He’s a good looking fucker, I’ll give him that. But that’s it. We are stuck with him
He's clearly not wank. Clearly a good footballer overall. But is he capable of doing what Ferna did? Probably not. Not sure anyone in the world currently is at the level he achieved. Fernandinho was astonishingly good. Either we find someone to do that somehow, or we try a different setup.
He's a good footballer. But expecting a big lump like him to be able to cover every blade of grass and mop up every opposition attack alone is just ridiculous. If we signed a DM who had the pace and fitness to sit back and mop up we would really see Rodri shine.

What exactly do you want Rodri to do against a highly athletic midfield and players with the pace of Barnes and Vardy.
He isn't going to get faster, so if you play him then you have to put players around him who have some legs. Pep took off the only player we have in midfield and then wanted Rodri to try and control 3 Leicester players.

We are going to have to try a different set up because this one doesn’t suit him that’s for sure.
Pep has to start managing games better than this. We don’t need to score 5 goals every game. We are either sublime or ridiculous. A complete contrast to the 14 game winning run for the title when we were defensively tight.

Rodri sits at the base of a midfield, at Atletico he had players like Saul and Koke which did the running. At City hes thrown into a "3" midfield, KDB goes and does his own thing which is fine when Fernandinho is there but if you then take Fernandinho out what exactly do you expect Rodri to do?

He simply isn’t suited to our team.
He always gets caught up the pitch, maybe he should just sit back but he can’t because he can’t pass forward
We’ve done our dough and are lumbered.
Fern played his position well as did Gundogen(to a lesser degrees) when we won the domestic treble but Plodders is the worst of both worlds. He can’t foul players, can’t pass forward and can’t run forward, backward or sideways
Stick him a Mourinho team in 2004 then maybe but it’s 2020 now and he’s well sort
